The brakes were upgraded and the rotors are huge and difficult to source at 32mm, you can mill them though. They're completely different cars to put it lightly, puscpatrol lists most of the things, but the front diff is also different, the entire frame is wider, the suspension points and many components are different, and there's electronic or hydraulic rear steering and a 4 point suspension system. The above is the same for every model R32, R33 and R34 that is the most basic and common difference between the words gtr and gtst.įrom that there is quite a few different varieties with lots of differences ranging from very minor, like interior stitching color and an exterior sticker, to pretty major, like motor's and body kits.īoth the R32 and R34 came in sedan and coupe with multiple engine options and drive line options, however the R33 is the only one that had a GTR sedan (autech r33 gtr).īut yeh I could go on, but I'll keep it simple, you best bet is to focus on the one you like and research that one model, otherwise you will overwhelm yourself. It doesn't really have anything to do with coupe or sedan. The main difference between GTST and GTR is drive line and turbo's.

I am not going to go into great detail but just to give you a simple answer.Īll of these babies came in coupe or sedan, rear wheel drive, all wheel drive, none turbo, twin turbo and single turbo. Think thats most of the major differences between the R32 GTST and GTR GTRs also have a front/rear torque split gauge on the main cluster. GTRs also have a gauge cluster in the centre console with the heater control and headunit below them, wheras GTSTs have the heater controls, a din pocket and a headunit in the centre console. GTSTs were 2+3 and had the same seats as the rest of the R32 line. Interior the GTR is 2+2 configuration with deep rear seats and different front seats to other R32s. Stock GTSTs had no bodykit but Type M GTSTs had a full plastic Type M kit (front bumper with electronic lip, sideskirts and bumper valences). Exterior wise the GTR has plastic front bumper and grille, bugeye headlights, plastic gtr sideskirts, rear widebody and larger front fenders, aero mirrors, rear bumper valences and the GTR spoiler. Both came with 5 stud wheels and 4pot front, 2pot rear brakes while the GTR had 16" alloy GTR wheels and GTSTs had 15" alloy GTST wheels. GTRs came with mechanical LSD while GTSTs had viscous LSDs. GTRs use a push type dogbox for the gearbox also vs a standard pull type like in GTSTs. The major differences are the engine (RB26DETT vs RB20DET) and the drivetrain (Atessa AWD in the GTR vs RWD in GTSTs). R32 GTSTs came in coupe and sedan, with a base trim level and a Type M version. I'm assuming we're talking R32 since there's no mention of GTS-25T or GTT.
